Going live
The checklist to work through before you let customers in, what "Store is live" means, and the first things to do once your shop is public.
Going live is not a big red button — it is the point where every piece is in place and your shop can take a real order end to end. This page is the checklist.
The pre-launch checklist
Your business details are complete and verified
GST verified, PAN reading correctly from it, business address with a house or shop number in it. See Business & GST details.
Your bank account shows Verified
Money accumulates in your wallet regardless, but it will not move to your bank until the account is verified. See Bank & payment details.
At least one pickup location exists
No courier can collect a parcel without one. This is the single most common thing that blocks a first dispatch. See Pickup locations.
Your categories are created and set Active
Products cannot exist without a category, and an inactive category is invisible to shoppers. See Categories.
Your products are Published, not Draft
Check the Published filter on the Products screen actually contains them. A shop full of drafts looks empty to a customer. See Adding products.
Delivery charge and GST handling are set
Especially the “prices include GST” switch — getting it backwards changes what every buyer is charged. See Delivery charges & GST.
At least one payment method is on
COD, online, or both. A shop with neither cannot take an order. See Payment methods & discounts.
Your storefront looks right on a phone
Open View my store on your own phone. This is how most of your buyers will see it.
What “Store is live” means
The green Store is live badge on your dashboard means customers can browse and buy right now. If it is not showing, something on the checklist above is incomplete — work down the list and it will appear.
Test it like a customer, once
Before you spend a rupee on ads, place one order on your own shop.
Does the product photo load? Is the price right? Does the delivery charge appear where you expect? Does the GST line say what you set it to? Does your announcement bar show? Can you actually reach checkout?
The order should appear in Orders → To Accept within moments. Open it and confirm the address, phone number and items are all correct.
Cancel your test order so it does not sit in your pipeline or skew your dashboard numbers.
The first week
- Share the link — WhatsApp status, Instagram bio, your existing customers. Your first orders almost always come from people who already know you.
- Watch Orders daily. Nothing damages a new shop like a parcel that sat unaccepted for three days.
- Do not start ads on day one. Give the shop a few real orders first so you know checkout works and you know your true cost per order. Then talk to your marketing contact.
- Fill in your Profit calculator with real numbers before you agree an ad budget.
