Quick definitions for the words you'll see everywhere on DiGiMaker — Seller, Buyer, Wallet, Commission, and more.
Plain definitions for the terms used throughout your dashboard and this documentation.
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| Seller | You — the manufacturer or business running a store on DiGiMaker. |
| Buyer | Your customer — the person who visits your storefront and places an order. |
| Storefront | Your own branded online store, live at yourname.digimaker.in (or your own domain once connected). |
| Subdomain | The yourname.digimaker.in address your store gets automatically the moment you publish. |
| Wallet | Your running DiGiMaker balance. Sales add to it, commission is deducted from it, and it can go negative if it hits ₹0 and a deduction is still owed. |
| Commission | The cut DiGiMaker takes per order for running the platform, payments, and support. Visible in your wallet. |
| COD (Cash on Delivery) | A payment option where the buyer pays cash to the delivery agent instead of paying online. We collect that cash, deduct commission, and credit the rest to your wallet. |
| Razorpay | The payment gateway connected to your store so buyers can pay online — UPI, cards, netbanking — directly to you. |
| Lead | Someone who’s shown interest before ordering — a WhatsApp message, a call, or a form fill. Leads live in your dashboard so you never lose track of a query. |
| Package | The parcel that leaves your workshop and reaches the buyer. Once an order is dispatched, DiGiMaker tracks its package through pickup, in-transit, and delivery. |
