How couriers work on DiGiMaker — the eight partners, choosing a default, chargeable weight, AWB tracking, and what happens between your workshop and the buyer's door.
Courier integration is built in. You do not sign your own contracts, negotiate rates or open accounts with delivery companies — DiGiMaker’s integration covers it.
The eight courier partners
Every order can go through any of these, and you see live prices for each before you dispatch:

Setting a default, and overriding it
- A store default applies to everything unless told otherwise.
- Per product, step 3 of the product form lets you pick a specific partner or leave it on Use store default.
Use the override for products whose shape or value makes one courier obviously better — something fragile, something unusually large.
Chargeable weight — the thing that surprises sellers
Couriers do not bill on what your parcel weighs. They bill on chargeable weight, which is the larger of:
- Actual weight — what the scales say.
- Volumetric weight — worked out from the box’s length × breadth × height.
The product form and the Rate calculator both show actual, volumetric and chargeable weight as you type dimensions, so you can see the effect before it costs you.
From packed parcel to delivered
You move the order to To Dispatch
In the Orders screen, once it is packed.
A courier is assigned and an AWB is generated
The AWB is the tracking number. It flows back into the order automatically — you do not copy it anywhere.
You print the label and stick it on
The label carries the AWB and the delivery address.
The courier collects from your pickup location
Which is why at least one pickup location must exist.
Status updates flow back on their own
The order moves through In Transit to Completed as the courier reports progress. The buyer can track it too.
On COD, the courier collects the cash
It is remitted to DiGiMaker, our commission comes off, and the rest reaches your wallet on your settlement cycle.
Delivery charges to the buyer
What the buyer pays for delivery is set by you, not by the courier’s price:
- A flat delivery charge on every order, and a free shipping over threshold — both in Delivery charges & GST.
- Free Shipping Eligible per product, in step 3 of the product form.
The gap between what you charge and what the courier costs is real money. Check it in the Profit calculator rather than guessing.
Serviceability
Not every pincode is served by every courier. The Rate calculator shows you which partners can actually reach a given pincode and what each would charge — use it before promising a delivery date on an unusual destination.
For COD specifically, the COD Pincode Rule on Bank & payment details controls which pincodes you accept cash orders from.
